Tucson — Carondelet Holy Cross Hospital and Air Methods are excited to announce the arrival of Santa Claus Wednesday, December 10. He came to town to say hello to everyone in an Air Methods helicopter.

“We are happy to give the reindeer a break and let Santa hitch a ride to the event in our helicopter,” said LifeNet Arizona Flight Paramedic Connor McCloud. “The look on people’s faces when Santa hops out of the helicopter was priceless. This is such a special event for the kids and brings so much joy to the community, and we are honored to be a part of it.” LifeNet Arizona is part of Air Methods, the nation’s leading emergency air medial service provider.

“We are so excited that this fun annual event is back. It was postponed at the start of the pandemic, and we really missed having Santa visit us,” said Dina Rojas-Sanchez, CEO Carondelet Holy Cross Hospital. “It’s such a fun way to help our patients, staff and the community celebrate the holiday season.”

Santa took some time to pose for some photos and chat with staff and the kiddos who came out to see him!
